Following County Executive Steuart Pittman’s Announcement, November 12, 2020:

Beginning Monday, November 16, 2020: 

·         All Recreation & Parks athletic activities are suspended until further notice.

·         Parks and R&P facilities are open for casual use.  HOWEVER, fields are closed for all organized practices, games and activities. 

·         All APPROVED permits in our system for fall use will be cancelled for the remainder of the season.

·         All REQUEST currently in our system for fall/winter use will be placed on hold.

·         All park patrons must wear a masking covering their nose and mouth;

·         Playgrounds remain open;

·         Outdoor Basketball courts and tennis courts will remain open;

·         Dog Parks remain open

Our staff is working diligently and in cooperation with the County Executive's office and Health Department officials to discuss and implement possible solutions for sports and all Recreation and Parks activities.  Please check our website for updates https://www.aacounty.org/departments/recreation-parks/cancellation-notice
