ABOUT: The Green Hornets Softball Program is composed of Club (Recreational) and Select (Travel) level teams.
Club Softball follows NCCGSL rules.
AGE RANGE: Green Hornets softball is available for girls ages 5 to 18.

ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS MUST PAY A $75 FAMILY FEE ONCE PER FAMILY PER CALENDAR YEAR
FALL SEASON: Tryouts for Select teams scheduled for the first two weeks in August. Season runs from August through early November.
SPRING SEASON:
Club and Select are offered. Practices begin in mid-March with games being played from mid-April to mid-June for Club players. Tournament team and select team seasons run further into the summer months, varying with each team.

· All Softball coaches and assistant coaches must be certified with Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks. The clinics are free, and certification is valid for three years and good for all County recreational sports.
