Get your Sport's information in Lauren Burke's weekly column published in The Capital.How to report sports results to be included in the Capital's Green Hornets column:
- Deadline is Tuesday p.m. prior to each Green Hornets' column published each Thursday in the Capital newspaper. Time sensitive topics such as tryout dates and events should submit information 1 week prior to the Tuesday evening deadline.
- Send information highlighting the five Ws: Who, What, Why, When and Where (team name, sport, division, opponent, full names of coaches, game facts such as final score, who scored, who assisted, who defended, etc.) via e-mail to lburke15@gmail.com.
- Action or team photos can be attached to the e-mail as a separate jpg file. The Capital prefers images of 5 people or less. Include photo IDs (front row, left to right, etc., or John Smith taking the shot) in body of e-mail. The Capital editors will print jpgs as space allows.
